Magpies Courtesy Bus is available for members, their guests and Mackay tourists for pick up and return. Children over 4 years of age are welcome and booster seats are subject to availability.
Operating Monday 10am-9pm, Tuesday 10am-9pm, Wednesday 10am-11pm, Thursday 10am-9pm, Friday 10am-1am, Saturday 10am-1am, Sunday 12pm-9pm.
Areas include North Mackay, Mount Pleasant, Glenella, Slade Point, Andergrove, Beaconsfield, Rural View, Eimeo, Blacks Beach, Richmond, Bucasia, Shoal Point, Mackay Harbour, West Mackay, East Mackay, South Mackay, Ooralea and Paget.

The dress standard for Magpies Sporting Club is a clean, neat and tidy appearance at all times. Congratulations to Woodley Gould, a recent recipient of the Quarter 1 Magpies Local Sporting Champion Grant! 🥇
Woodley excelled in three local primary school competitions in 2023, showcasing remarkable talent and dedication. From earning a merit ribbon to securing bronze and gold medals in individual and team events, his achievements at St Mary`s School were outstanding. Woodley`s hard work and passion for chess earned him a spot to represent his school and Mackay at the state championships, where, at just 9 years old, he was the youngest member of the team.
Thanks to the generous support of the Magpies Community Grant, Woodley and his family received vital assistance with travel, accommodation, and meals. Congratulations once again, Woodley! Your journey in chess is inspiring, and we can`t wait to see where it leads.

The Queensland Police Service Rugby League State Championships are held annually involving over 300 players from the Police Rugby League Association. Magpies has been lucky to host the games and a meet & greet this week!

Congratulations to Nate Wales for being awarded a Magpies Local Sporting Champion Grant! 🏑
Nate, a talented athlete, has excelled in both field and indoor hockey. His achievements include representing his school for Capricornia Hockey, playing for Mackay in Cairns, and representing Queensland in indoor hockey championships. Nate`s exceptional performance at the 2024 Hockey Australia Boys U13 Indoor Cup, where he scored 3 goals and received two team awards, highlights his dedication and skill.
With support from the Magpies Community Grant, Nate and his family received assistance with various expenses, including nomination fees, accommodation, flights, and uniforms. Congratulations, Nate, on your remarkable success!
