Magpies Community program, a Magpies Sporting Club initiative – aims to support schools, sporting clubs, charities and non-profit organisations within the greater Mackay region by way of donations: raffle items, gift cards, room hire, use of fields or facilities or professional assistance. Applications to request a donation can be made by completing the online application form below.
Magpies Sporting Club is a not for profit, community club that is member driven and community oriented, we are dedicated to encouraging sporting participation and supporting the Mackay community. Magpies Community Program aims to support schools, sporting clubs, charities and non-profit organisations within the greater Mackay region by way of cash donations, gift cards, raffle items, room hire, use of fields or facilities or professional assistance. Application for assistance from Magpies Community Program can be made by completing the request form further down this page.

Generally, Magpies Community Program does not offer support to:

Magpies have provided our fields for the River Bulls, Open Women (Diamonds) and Open Men’s (Blood Diamonds) teams to train for the Mackay Indigenous Rugby League Competition. The Open Women’s team are very lucky to have Mackay local Brittany Breayley (Current NWRL and Australian Jillaroo) playing with them. The competition this year will be held at the Mackay Junior Rugby League Grounds from the 6th-8th October 2023. #MagpiesCommunity #MagpiesCommunityProgram
