Lee originally commenced at Magpies as a 1st year Apprentice Chef back in 1996, after completing his trade he worked throughout Brisbane and the Whitsunday Islands. In 2012 he returned to Magpies as Sous Chef and two years later in 2014 was appointed as Head Chef. Head Chef Lee loves the chalenge of working at Magpies, every day is different whether it’s catering for a function of 300 people, providing meals for sponsors at a home game or delivering high quality al a carte meals at Centro Restaurant. The standard of quality in our meals is reflected with our booked out Centro Restaurant, delivering over 2,000 meals a week. As a keen fisherman Head Chef Lee is passionate about creating dishes using local seafood that is caught right here on the reef.
