Magpies Courtesy Bus is available for members, their guests and Mackay tourists for pick up and return. Children over 4 years of age are welcome and booster seats are subject to availability.
Operating Monday 10am-9pm, Tuesday 10am-9pm, Wednesday 10am-11pm, Thursday 10am-9pm, Friday 10am-1am, Saturday 10am-1am, Sunday 12pm-9pm.
Areas include North Mackay, Mount Pleasant, Glenella, Slade Point, Andergrove, Beaconsfield, Rural View, Eimeo, Blacks Beach, Richmond, Bucasia, Shoal Point, Mackay Harbour, West Mackay, East Mackay, South Mackay, Ooralea and Paget.

FREE HEART HEALTH CHECK
❤️ This Sunday, we`re hosting Heartbeat of Football Foundation who are kindly offering free heart health checks for our members & guests. Heartbeat of Football promotes heart health through awareness programs, screening checks, and the placement of defibrillators. Their mission is to is to have zero heart-related deaths on the sporting ground. Between 10am-2pm you can access a simple, quick and free blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar check.

Magpies are thrilled to welcome the Australian Over 65`s National Cricket Championships to Mackay! With teams from across Australia and New Zealand, this event marks a historic moment in Veterans Cricket 🏏
We are proud to host some of the local matches at our venue, showcasing the skill and passion of these talented cricketers. The 16-team competition will be played on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the week beginning Monday, 30 September. More information to come!

We`re thrilled to share that the Time to Shine - Women in Sport Magpies Grant has been awarded to a talented local athlete, Sienna Hume! 🏃♀️
In 2023, Sienna set her sights on training hard to qualify for the QLD State Sprints Swimming Championships. She successfully qualified for the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke, achieving two personal bests on competition day, placing 57th and 66th overall for 11-year-old girls in QLD. Just two weeks later, Sienna shaved another 2 seconds off her 50m backstroke time, equalling the girl who placed 30th in the state.
Sienna is determined to keep improving her times, and we can`t wait to see where her dedication to swimming takes her next!
The Magpies Community Grant helped Sienna and her family with expenses for the Championships in Brisbane, including travel, accommodation, and car hire.

Congratulations to Kiran Walpole, who has been awarded a Local Sporting Champion Grant! 🏑
Kiran`s journey began at the State Hockey Championships in Hervey Bay, where he earned a spot in the Qld National Championships for U16 Boys. His team went on to win the gold medal in a thrilling shootout finale, congratulations!
Magpies Grant funding played a vital role in supporting Kiran`s journey, helping to cover costs such as trials in Brisbane in February, including flights and accommodation, followed by two weeks of travel and accommodation in Hobart.
