Magpies Youth Academy Development 10 Week Program was formed and Implemented by Magpies Senior Rugby League Club and facilitated at Magpies Sporting Club Mackay.
The program was led by Strength & Conditioning High Performance Coach Alex Kertesz and Magpies Senior Rugby Leagues Head Coach Scott Thorburn with the Support of
Junior and Senior Coaching Staff.
Purpose: Create pathways from Magpies Junior Rugby League Club to Magpies Senior Rugby League Club for Juniors and introduce them to the facilities, staff and culture, whilst safely introduce players into the strength program.
π Youth Academy Player Numbers: 15
π Duration: 10 week program with follow up prior to season commencement
π Sessions: 3 weekly sessions
