A wonderful friendship has been formed between @magpies_jrl_mackay U/11 Black team and a team from the Torres Strait Islands during the Laurie Spina Shield 2026.
As a gesture of mateship, our Magpies players gifted the team some Magpies gear, which was warmly received. It’s moments like these that show rugby league is about so much more than the game.
