Magpies AFL Club is a young, progressive Australian Football Club with a brilliant future.Β
The club fields teams in both juniors and seniors, Men’s and Women’s competitions of AFL Mackay. Magpies AFL Clubs aim is to create and maintain an inclusive, family orientated culture where everyone is welcome and encouraged to participate in any way they desire.
This month, Magpies celebrates 40 years since the clubhouse was officially opened and we are throwing it back to the launch of Magpies AFL & Cricket Amenities building in July 2014. In the 2014 financial year Magpies Sporting Club contributed $2.4 million to the community with the largest portion of this being the new Cricket and Amenities building eclipsing some $1.3 million in costs.
